Autor

Dr. Phoolendra Mishra is currently an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the California State University - Fullerton, California. Prior to joining California State University, Fullerton he has worked as postdoctoral Research Associate with Computational Earth Sciences group at Los Alamos National Laboratory, Los Alamos, New Mexico. He received his Ph.D. in Hydrology from the University of Arizona. His dissertation work on characterizing vadose zone hydraulic properties on realistic field scales by means of pumping tests was supported by the Department of Energy. He received several awards including John and Margaret Harshbarger doctoral fellowship, Hargis award, Eugene S. Simpson fellow in groundwater, Geosyntec Inc. Best Student Research Paper award and Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD) fellowship. His research interests span the areas of hydrology, well hydraulics, coupled processes modeling, contaminant source identification, parameter estimation and uncertainty quantification. He coedited book on Advances in Hydrogeology and authored a book on Advanced Analytical solutions for analyzing pumping tests. Dr. Mishra has published numerous research articles in these areas. He recently received an exceptional teaching effectiveness award from the California State University Fullerton. Dr. Andy Lee received his PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is a Research Engineer for the Los Angeles Sanitation District, where he oversees multimillion dollar projects. He research includes odor control at pumping stations, chemical usage calculation and evaluations, optimization of maintenance procedures using GIS, and evaluation of existing crown spray programs. He formerly worked as a Research Assistant at UCLA and Los Alamos National Laboratory. He has authored numerous journal papers.
