Beschreibung

This is the true love story of Frank Bajandas, a neuro-ophthalmologist who recovered from a near-death accident in the mid-to-late 1970s, and Judy, an ophthalmic resident. Frank is preoccupied by his limited remaining time, and both are in unsatisfying marriages. The extramarital affair begins, and he writes captivating love poems for her over the years. They spend glorious hours outdoors with each other, bonding physically and spiritually. After Frank follows his family back to a distant state, they write passionate letters to each other almost daily while Frank sorts out the consequences of following his heart, in view of his limited time remaining. Eventually, both leave their marriages and form their own short-lived union.
